Just fucking go there and eat somewhere, do you really need to be told this? Are you allowed out on your own?

if you want a pretty good view of the city get down to Callao (tube stop) and go the the top floor restaurant area in El Corte Ingles. There is a nice square just south of there with a really old monastery. or walk south east from Callao down to Sol (watch your wallet). best places to eat and drink and get a real taste of Madrid life is between Calle de Alcala and Calle de Atoche. loads of back streets, loads of bars where you can get tapas, if you have time you can track back to Plaza Mayor (to the west) for a bit of Spanish culture. long walks, but if you are walking and drinking you'll be alright. can't remember bar opening times but everything shuts in the afternoon for their siesta, unless they are tourist traps. best advice is go with the flow and you'll have a great time.

The Ateltico tour is okay. Liked the stadium proper old school feel too it. Only 45 mins long compared to Reals 3 hour one.

You could do what the locals do and see a Flamenco or a bull fight.
The Bernabeu tour is good and walk around the Palace. I wouldn't recommend the Teleferico (cable car). It's long, boring and rather pointless.
The streets off of Sol has some decent bars/clubs and if your into that Kapital nightclub was pretty good.

What's the name of that street with nothing but bars and tapas places? I attempted that at midnight and had managed four stops by 5am.

Mercado de San Miguel. 33 different stalls selling great food and wine.
Retiro Park. Walk around and see the Crystal Palace.
Plaza de Santa Ana. Lots of bars and restaurants. There's a bar there called Naturbier who brew their own beer, no chemicals used. And in their cellar you can have your own pump at the table to pour your own beer.
Plaza Mayor for the touristy bits.
My preferred restaurant is Bocaito, Calle Liberdad 6, 28004 Madrid.
If its your fancy, the gay area is Chueca.
Get around on the metro, its first class.
Oh and do the tour of the Bernabeau
